I love this. I love this even more than the Ferris/Fight Club theory. 

Cameron was always my hero. Ferris was fun, he was a ratbag, but Cameron was always my hero. He was trapped. Trapped by his dad, by his best friend, by his house. But he was the one that took a stand. He was the one that fought back. The movie was always about Cameron, Ferris was just the gloss.
